Baltic FC Set to Launch First Ever FOOTBALLATHON

Excitement is building across the club as Baltic Youth FC prepare to host their very first FOOTBALLATHON on Saturday 6th June, starting from 8am a full day of football, energy, teamwork and nonstop action for players across the club.

The event will see Baltic players take part in an exciting long-form 3v3 football challenge on the club’s inflatable pitch, creating a fast-paced environment packed with goals, skill, teamwork and determination. Starting with the U8s in the morning, the games will continue throughout the day as each age group tags in the next, building one continuous FOOTBALLATHON that showcases the spirit and togetherness of the entire club.

Organised by Coaches Craig and Stuart, the event has been designed to give players a unique experience that goes far beyond a normal matchday. Rather than focusing purely on results, the FOOTBALLATHON is about enjoyment, development, confidence and allowing every player to express themselves freely on the pitch.

The smaller 3v3 format promises plenty of touches on the ball, quick decision-making and nonstop involvement from every player. It also creates a fun but competitive atmosphere where teammates go head-to-head against one another in their own age groups while encouraging creativity and teamwork throughout the day.

For many of the younger players, this will be their first time taking part in an event like this, making it an exciting moment not only for the children but also for parents, coaches and supporters who have watched the club continue to grow year after year.

The club has always placed huge importance on creating an environment where football remains enjoyable while still helping players improve. Events like this are another example of Baltic’s commitment to building confidence, friendships and opportunities for young players both on and off the pitch.

Throughout the season, Baltic teams from U8s right through to U16s have shown tremendous progress, passion and dedication. The FOOTBALLATHON now gives every group the chance to come together for one club-wide event that celebrates those efforts in a fun and memorable way.

As well as being a fantastic football occasion, the event also aims to raise important funds to continue supporting the development of the club. Money raised during the FOOTBALLATHON will go directly towards essential equipment and improvements that benefit all players across the age groups.

Plans include investing in new goals, replacement nets and a state-of-the-art matchday recording system that will allow players and coaches to watch games back for learning and development purposes. The addition of video analysis will help players better understand positioning, movement and decision-making while also creating special memories for families to look back on.

Baltic FC continues to pride itself on values of inclusivity, learning, passion and opportunity. The club believes every child should feel welcome, supported and free to enjoy football regardless of experience or ability level.

The FOOTBALLATHON is expected to bring together players, families, coaches and supporters for a brilliant day around football, with plenty of encouragement, laughter and community spirit throughout.

Players are already looking forward to testing their stamina, nerves and skill levels in the fast-paced 3v3 battles, and coaches are expecting a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.
