What a fantastic way for Baltic Youth FC to return after the Easter break, with our young stars producing a weekend full of energy, goals, teamwork, and brilliant football across the age groups. It was the perfect restart to the season, and with the sunshine, great support from families, and some fantastic pictures captured throughout the morning, it truly felt like a special day for the club.
Our U8s, Coach Ashley writing the match report
The team delivered two convincing 6–0 wins against opponents they had previously lost to earlier in the season, a huge sign of just how much progress this group has made. The teamwork on display was excellent, with the players moving the ball confidently, linking up well, and showing great awareness in both matches. It was clear to see that this team is really beginning to gel at the perfect time in the season.
A huge congratulations goes to Finley, who was deservedly named Player of the Match after an excellent display up front, including two superb goals. The confidence and attacking movement from the U8s made for some brilliant action shots, and the pictures from these games perfectly captured the smiles, celebrations, and growing togetherness of the squad.
The U9s, report written by Coaches Warren & Aran
The team were equally impressive with a dominant 9–1 victory on a sunny but windy morning. This was a performance full of confidence, sharp passing, and great decision-making. The coaches highlighted how every player had plenty of touches on the ball, and that development is really beginning to shine through in their performances.
A massive well done to Harry, our Player of the Match, who led from the front with an incredible four goals. Further goals from Enes and Tomas added to a brilliant team display, with the link-up play between the boys particularly impressive.
Special praise also went to Maurycy, who was excellent in defence while also making some powerful attacking runs down the wings. Coaches Warren and Aran also praised Kejhan (C), Aiden M, Freddie, Misha, and Riley for their relentless work rate, focus, and energy throughout the match.
The U10s, match thoughts written by Coaches Justin & Brendan
The team delivered a strong performance in a 5–2 win, continuing the positive theme of the day. Goals came from Tait, Thabi, Seb, and Lucca, with Lucca grabbing a brilliant brace. Fred was named Player of the Match for his excellent all-round play and quality assists, while Seb earned the Captain’s Pick.
The coaches were pleased with the football shown, particularly in spells where the team moved the ball well and adapted cleverly to the windy conditions in the second half. Their message was clear: keep trusting the process, trust each other, and continue working on positional discipline and cleaner passing.
And what a way to top off a fantastic return after the Easter break! The Goal of the Week video perfectly captured the quality on show across the club. 🎥⚽💙
Ferdinand's Final Word

A huge thank you to all the coaches who wrote their match reflections Ashley, Warren, Aran, Justin, and Brendan and well done to every Baltic player who represented the badge so proudly this weekend. The future is looking bright at Baltic. 💙⚽📸
